DSL Availability FAQ
Is my distance from my phone company important when checking DSL availability?
Yes. The further away that you are from your DSL provider's access points, the less likely that you will be able to get the highest possible DSL speeds offered.
This has become less of an issue in recent years, though, due to better DSL technology and wide spread dsl availability campaigns by Verizon, AT&,T and others. Generally, if you are within 3 - 5 miles of your DSL provider's broadband access points, then DSL should be available.
The easiest way to find out is to simply use our website to check your DSL availability with the specific DSL provider that you are interested in using.
